We understand that no two tuning jobs are ever the same, which is why our pricing isn’t one-size-fits-all.
Every vehicle, setup, and goal is different, so we tailor the tune cost to suit the work actually required on your car.
That said, you can loosely ballpark your tune price by looking at the ECU tier your vehicle runs and whether it will be tuned on a single fuel or flex fuel.
Basic
PowerFC, Haltech Platinum, Nistune etc
Modern
Haltech Elite/Nexus S or Plugin, Link G4+/G4X/G5 etc
Motorsport
Haltech Nexus R, MoTeC, EMtron etc
As a guide -
Tier 1 (basic ECUs - PowerFC, Haltech Platinum, Nistune etc) are typically around $1400 single fuel / $1600 flex
Tier 2 (modern ECUs - Haltech Elite/Nexus S, Link G4 etc) around $1600 single fuel / $1800 flex
Tier 3 (motorsport ECUs - Haltech Nexus R, MoTeC, EMtron etc) around $1800 single fuel / $2000 flex but heavily depends on the complexity of the vehicle systems.
OEM ECUs - Pricing is unique for every vehicle and will differ depending on software licensing costs and tune requirements. Typically, $1600 - $2000.
Labour - Prebooked work performed on your vehicle (such as ECU installation, wiring of sensors etc) is $200/hr. Non-tuning work performed on your vehicle while it is on the dyno is $250/hr. Labour is charged in 30-minute increments.
These figures are estimates only and include 10% GST.
